Age: Min 20 years & Max 25 years
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. 1st Class Master Certificate Issued by the Central of State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine department.
SI Sub-Inspector (Engine Driver): 13 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-2 + GP Rs. 4200
Age: Min 20 years & Max 25 years
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. 1st Class Engine Driver Certificate Issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
HC Head Constable (Master): 117 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400
Age: Min 20 years & Max 25 years
Qualification:
Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent. Serang Certificate. One year experience in the trade from a recognized Institution/ establishment.
HC Head Constable (Engine Driver): 56 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400
Age: Min 20 years & Max 25 years
Qualification:
Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent. Possessing IInd Class Engine Driver Certificate. One year experience in the trade.
HC Head Constable (Workshop): 19 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400
Age: Min 20 years & Max 25 years
Qualification:
Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent. Industrial training instituted Diploma in diesel Engine/ Machinist/ Welder/ Machine Shop/ Carpentry/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Turner from recognized institution. One year experience in the trade.
CT (Crew): 71 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2000
Age: Min 20 years & Max 25 years
Qualification:
Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent. Two years experience in operating of Boat below 265 HP as a Sukhani or Greaser.
Selection process :
The Selection will be as follows:
1. Written Examination
2. Documentation and Physical Measurement
3. Physical Efficiency Test
4. Interview & Medical Exam
Application Fees:
The candidates applying for the post should enclose a valid Indian Postal Order or Crosse Draft for Rs. 50/- only as Examination Fees in favour of DDO payable at the respective SBI/Post Office at the location or nearby station. However, SC/ST and BSF candidates are exempted from the Examination Fees.
