Job Description:

Post: HC (RO)
Education: Matriculation or equivalent plus two years ITI certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics or Intermediate.

Post: HC (Fitter)
Education: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution, and two years Industrial Training Institute certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic.

Post: ASI (RM)
Education:  Matric with Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances.

pay scale of Rs. 5200- 20,200 (PB-I) plus Grade pay of Rs. 2400/-
per month for HC(RO) / HC (Fitter) and Rs.5200- 20,200 (PB-I) plus Grade pay of Rs. 2800/- per month
for ASI (RM)

Physical Standards: Height : 170 cms, Chest : 80 cms (85 cms after expansion). Weight : Corresponding to Height. Medical Standards:- (i) Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of the both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing glasses (ii) Must pass high-grade colour vision test. (iii) Must not have knock-knees, flat feet or squint in eyes. (iv) Must not be having any defect/deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

AGE LIMITS :-
(i) Not below 18 years or over 23 years as on 01/05/2010 for HC(RO) / HC(Fitter).
(ii) Not below 18 years or over 25 years as on 01/05/2010 for ASI(RM)

Application Fee: Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs.50 (Fifty) only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favor of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office. However, the SC/ST and Departmental candidates are not required to submit examination fee. Application along with fee will be sent to any of the centers given. The envelope containing application must be superscripted in bold letters as under “Application for the post of HC( RO )/ HC( FITTER )/ ASI( RM ) ”.
