Medical Council Of India New Delhi invites for the following Stenographer,Computer Operator & Lower Division Clerk posts in the Council office

The Medical Council of India was established in 1934 under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1933, now repealed, with the main function of establishing uniform standards of higher qualifications in medicine and recognition of medical qualifications in India and abroad. The number of medical colleges had increased steadily during the years after Independence

1. Stenographer Grade – II

  • No.of Posts-03 Posts
  • Pay: Pay Band -2 Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200
  • Qualification : A Degree from recognized University. 100 w.p.m. speed in Stenography and 40 w.p.m. speed in typing in English language
  • Age : Between 25 to 35 years.

2. Stenographer Grade – III

  • No.of Posts-03 Posts
  • Pay: Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400
  • Qualification : Matriculation or its equivalent. A Speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand (English) and a minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. in English Typing
  • Age : Between 18 to 27 years

3. Computer Operator

  • No.of Posts-02 Posts
  • Pay: Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400
  • Qualification : Matriculation or its equivalent. A Speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand (English) and a minimum
  • speed of 40 w.p.m. in English Typing
  • Age : Between 18 to 27 years

4. Lower Division Clerk

  • No.of Posts-04 Posts
  • Pay: Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
  • Qualification : 12th or equivalent qualification from a recognised board. Typing Speed of 30 w.p.m. in English
  • Age : Between 18 to 27 years
