Rourkela Steel Plant invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for filling up the following posts:

  1. Jr. Operator/ Technician-cum- Attendant (Trainee)   : 80 Posts, Fitter-20
    Electrician-20,Welder-11,Machinist-08,Turner-07,Diesel Mechanic-02,Electronics-05,Instrumentation-05,Refrigeration & AC-02     ,Age : 28 years. Relaxation as per rules. Pay Scale:To be recruited as Trainee,
    on consolidated pay for 02 (two) years.On successful completion of
    training to be regularized in S-1 grade. Qualification :Matric and ITI in the trade of Fitter /Electrician / Welder / Machinist / Turner/Diesel Mechanic / Electronics /Instrumentation / Refrigeration & AC
  2. Jr. Operator/Technician-cum- Attendant (S-1)   : 50 Posts, Age : 30 years. Relaxation as per rules. Pay Scale:Rs.8630-3%-12080/-(S-1) ,Qualification: Matric and ITI with 2 (two) years experience in Steel industry.
  3. Operator cum Technician (S-3 )   : 50 Posts ,Metallurgy-08,Mechanical-15,Electrical-15,Civil-02,Electronics-05,Instrumentation-05, Age : 30 years. Relaxation as per rules. Pay Scale: Rs.9160-3%-13150/-(S-3).Qualification :Matric and Diploma in Engineering in the discipline of Metallurgy / Mechanical/Electrical / Civil / Electronics / Instrumentation with 2 (two) years experience in Steel industry

MODE OF SELECTION:-
(i) Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written Test.
(ii) Candidates found eligible in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview.
(iii) Date, Time & Place of the Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible candidates

APPLICATION FEE:-
An Account Payee Demand Draft of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two hundred Fifty only) (non-refundable) drawn
on any Nationalized Bank, in favour of Steel Authority of India Ltd., Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela, payable at
Rourkela. No other financial instrument except Bank Draft will be accepted and in case other instrument is
submitted, the same application is liable to be rejected.
SC/ST/PWD/ESM candidates are exempted from payment of such Application Fee.
