Army Dental Corps Short Service Commission invites the application for the following posts:

Name of the Post: Army Dental Corps

Total no of vacancies: 48

Essential Qualification:

1) Candidates must be BDS (with minimum 55% marks in final year)/MDS from a recognized college/university.

2)Should have completed one year rotator internship recognized by Dental council of India by 31st August, 2010

3)Should be in possession of permanent Dental registration certificates valid at least up to 31st December, 2010 at the time of interview

Age limit:

Less than 45 years of age as on 31st December, 2010

Gross Pay:

Under Pay Band-3 Rs 15,600-39,100/-+ GP of Rs.6100/-+ Military Service pay of Rs 6000/-

Points To Be Noted:

1)The candidate who are appearing for this post should  be medically fit in all respects for service in the Armed Forces
Army Dental Corps Selection procedure.

2)Medical examination: All the candidates who are provisionally placed on the merit list will be brought before a medical board for medical fitness.

3)Candidates who have applied earlier may also apply if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Selection Process:

Short-listing for interview: Candidates found eligible will be short listed based on their final BDS marks and attempts taken in final BDS. Short-listed candidates will be required to appear before the selection board for interview only. However, all the eligible candidates in possession of MDS degrees recognized by DCI will be called for interview. There will be no short listing in their case.
